Overview
The Williams College Museum of Art is a truly impressive museum that far outshines what one usually thinks of as a college museum. With a collection of over 12,000 peices and regularly changing shows, the museum's challenge has always been communicating the size and scope of the WCMA experience to the world outside Williams College.

Target Audience
The museum's audience is broad and consists of cultural tourists visiting other cultural institutions in the berkshires, local visitors and students on campus. Key to the success of this project were the ability to differentiate the museum from other local museums and creating a vibrant dynamic site that reflects the diversity of the WCMA experience.


Solution
Orbit created a website that reflects both the visual diversity and breadth of the WCMA collection. The site features frequently updated news items, expansive views into the collection and tools to facilitate communication such as an email newsletter system.
